After obtaining Autonomy, a separate exams cell was established during the academic year 2006-2007 with Principal as the Chief Controller of Examinations. The cell is headed by Controller of Examinations, Supported by Three Additional Controllers of Examinations.
The Controller of Examinations shall supervise day to day activities concerning examinations and is responsible for preparation of draft academic schedule, examination time table, conduct of examinations, declaration of results and issue of marks memos etc. There are sufficient number of supporting staff members to look after the examination related activities.
The Exam Cell has integrated software which takes care of the entire process from the registration of the student for the examination to the publication of final results. Adequate infrastructure facilities are provided and constantly improved for the conduct of examination.
