EXTENSION ACTIVITIES
The Extension Activities forum in G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College established in the year 2010 with aim to promote holistic development of students by exposing them to real-world challenges and societal issues. Extension Activity forum has taken an initiative in conducting the awareness programs at rural schools. The vision is the impetus for the students to indulge in the social and digital technology awareness activities and strive for improving communication skills for rural students.
The objectives of the forum are
- Providing training sessions for unprivileged communities on basic computer literacy and other technical areas.
- Organizing workshops and seminars to educate community on various social issues.
- Collaborating with local authorities to identify and address the pressing needs of the community.
- Encouraging students to respect diversity and work towards inclusive development.
Extension Activities forum has planned and organized a continuous outreach program to school students of Vignana Peetam High School, as most of the students are from rural background with financial problems and orphans. Enthusiastic and generous students from G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College are selected as tutors to teach subjects like Computers, Mathematics, English, Science to the school students after their college hours. Various awareness and outreach programs on technical as well as social issues were conducted in rural schools and polytechnic colleges.
