Functions of the Quantum Innovation Centre (QIC):
The Centre shall function as a hub to advance quantum technologies by integrating research, innovation, industry collaboration, and skill development. Its activities include:
- Conducting cutting-edge research in Quantum Computing, Quantum Communication, Quantum Sensing, Quantum Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and Semiconductors (Chip Fabrication).
- Developing proof-of-concept modelsand experimental prototypes.
- Promoting interdisciplinary researchinvolving physics, engineering and computer science.
- Envisage to ignite creative thinking, strengthen research orientation and nurture entrepreneurial competencies among students
- To identify faculty membersto be trained in Python, Qiskit, and IBM Quantum Cloud.
