The e-Governance Committee consists of the following functionality

iii.College ERP
iv.Facial Recognition of Faculty and Students.

Objectives:

• To Update academic records of students on national digital platforms (NAD).
• To implement and monitor biometric/facial recognition-based systems for student attendance and identity verification as mandated by the government.
• To streamline administrative, academic, and examination workflows through an integrated ERP system.
• To Update the College Website and provide Student Services, Academic Performance etc.

Functions:

1. Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)
   1. Create and Maintain ABC IDs for all students.
   2. Uploading/updating of credits data on the ABC portal (DigiLocker/NAD linkage).
   3. College Website Maintenance through Department co-ordinators
   4. Ensure regular updates of academic calendars, notices, results, circulars, and events.
   5. Coordinate with departments to collect and publish updated content (faculty profiles, achievements, placements, etc.).
   6. Update the website with photographs and reports of institutional events/activities.
   7. Generate E-Mail Ids’ for faculty and students
   8. Facial Recognition System
   9. Install, calibrate, and maintain facial recognition hardware/software for student attendance.
   10. Ensure enrolment of all students’ facial data into the system.

 

1. College ERP Software
2. Oversee functioning of ERP modules — admissions, attendance, examinations, fee payment etc.
3. Coordinate with the ERP vendor/developer for updates, bug fixes, and new feature implementation.
4. Train faculty, staff, and students in effective use of the ERP.
5. Address grievances/technical issues raised by users (students, faculty).
