Extra Academic Activities (EAA) Cell shall consist of sub committees including Bhuvana Vijayam (BV), CAD & English Club, Sports & Games, Centre for Yoga, Wellness & Human Values, Vivekananda Study Circle (VSC) & Extension Activities (EA) Committee and NSS under its umbrella.
Objectives and Functions:
- To promote the holistic development of students by providing opportunities in sports, fitness, arts, culture, community service, yoga, wellness, leadership, teamwork, communication, and personality development through various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- To plan, coordinate, and organize literary, cultural, sports, wellness, and community service programmes, including UDAAN, College Day, other institutional events, and activities under the Student Induction Programme for I B.Tech students.
- To monitor, evaluate, and recommend the completion status of the mandatory Extra Academic Activities (EAA) prescribed for the award of the degree and communicate the same to the Examination Section/Principal’s Office.
To maintain records of all activities conducted by the EAA Cell and its constituent committees and provide the required information to the University, AICTE, NBA, NAAC, NIRF, and other statutory or accreditation agencies through the PAE Committee or the Principal’s Office.
